Our branch and parking places are located at the left side of the parking at the area of Debrecen International Airport.
With public transportation
Debrecen International Airport is directly served by the Airport Debrecen bus line (Airport 1-2), the time-table of which in most cases is aligned with the arrival and departure times of the planes.
SIXT parking
Our parking places are located at the right side of the parking if you are leaving the Airport Terminal building.
The SIXT counter is located next to the car park.

Fuel
Fuel: Pick up and return full. Your vehicle will be supplied with a full tank of fuel. To avoid incurring fuel charges, you will need to return it with the same amount of fuel as it had when you collected it. You may be required to leave a fuel deposit reserved or charged on your credit card, this will be released or refunded when you return the car full. Missing fuel will be charged on your return. The price per litre charged by the rental agent may be significantly higher than the price at the local service station. A refuelling charge may also be applicable.Driver's age
25 to 99 years. Young driver's age: 21 to 24 years. Charge 15.24 EUR per day. Cross Border Rentals & Territorial Restrictions Cross Border Rentals are allowed to the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. Travelling to Romania, Greece, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Bosnia & Hercegovina and Serbia is only possible with the car groups MCMR, ECMR, EDAR, EDMR, CCMR, CCAR, CDMR, CWMR, CWAR, CDAR and CDAH. For trips abroad, an additional fee of EUR 8,89 per day (max 44,45 EUR) is charged. All trips abroad are to be requested at the Sixt station. - A deposit amount from a minimum of EUR 300.0 to a maximum of EUR 500.0 will be held against your credit card for the duration of the rental.
- Your deposit is a guarantee held in the event of damage/theft of the vehicle.
- This will be released if there is no theft or damage during the rental period.
- Please note that this does not represent your total excess liability which can be found in the Insurance Coverage section.
- Credit card(s) must be valid for up to 6 months after the rental has ended.
- NOT ACCEPTED: No other payment types will be accepted.
- Virtual payment cards are not accepted.
- A valid credit card in the first name and surname (no abbreviations) of the lead driver must be presented at the rental desk in order to pre-authorise/charge a deposit.
- Please be prepared to provide the PIN number of the credit card(s) presented as suppliers could require this to proceed with the rental contract.
- In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card, there is a lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card or the credit card is not in the lead driver's name, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle.
- In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.
- A fuel deposit might be blocked on the main driver’s credit card.
- This is done to cover expenses that may occur if the renter fails to comply with the agreed fuel policy.
Driving licence
- The main driver’s original full licence (physical driving licence) held for a minimum of 1 year(s) with no major endorsements. UK licence holders must present a photocard licence.
- An International Driving Permit (IDP) is also needed with your original domestic licence.
- If you are a UK customer with a photocard driving licence issued in the UK; you do not need an IDP to drive in the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein.
- If you have a paper licence issued in Gibraltar, Guernsey, Jersey or the Isle of Man; you may need an IDP to drive in some EU countries and Norway.
